Court-Appointed Executor or Personal Assistance Services

At Thai-German Heritage Assistance, we offer two distinct pathways to support you in managing the estate of your loved one. Depending on your needs, you can appoint us as a court-recognized executor (Testamentsvollstrecker) or engage our personalized assistance services. Both options ensure professional guidance tailored to your unique situation.

 
Court-Appointed Executor Services

Appointment as Executor:
You can designate us as the executor of your estate either in advance (as part of the will) or through court appointment after the passing of your loved one. As executors, we act on behalf of the estate, ensuring the legal and efficient administration of all assets.

Responsibilities as Executor:

• Inventory of all assets and liabilities.
• Payment of debts and taxes from the estate.
• Distribution of assets to heirs and beneficiaries according to the will.
• Full compliance with German inheritance laws.

Legal Basis: Our authority as executor is derived from either the testator’s written instructions or a court order.
 
Personalized Assistance 

If no executor is appointed, or if you prefer additional guidance, you can engage us through a service agreement to assist with the inheritance process. Our assistance is flexible, designed to meet your specific requirements.

Scope of Assistance:

• Support in asset inventoryand valuation.
• Coordination with professionals for legal, tax, and real estate matters.
• Guidance in navigating family dynamics or disputes.
• Assistance with transferring assets from Germany to Thailand.

Legal and Operational Framework:
These services are governed by an individual service agreement, which includes the specific scope of work and powers of attorney (if required).
 
Financial Terms

Fees: Our fees range from 5% to 15% of the estate’s value, excluding VAT. The exact percentage is agreed upon in the service agreement.

Additional Costs: Legal advice, tax consultancy, and other professional services are not included in our fees and will be paid directly from the estate or by the client.
 
Important Notes

Non-Legal and Non-Tax Services:We do not provide legal or tax advisory services. For such matters, we work alongside qualified professionals to ensure compliance with all legal and tax regulations.
Clear Documentation: All agreements are transparent and documented in writing, providing clarity on roles, responsibilities, and costs.
